What does Glee have to do with March 2nd?

March 2nd is "Spread the word to end the word" day.  It's a campain to end the use of the "R" word.  I have to tell you that in this house we have banned the use of words like "R".  My husband knows that I will not tolerate it.  My oldest son has spread the word and told his friends he doesn't like them saying the word.

As many people know Glee is a favorite of mine.  I was thrilled to see Glee having a person with a special need on their show.  The actress has teamed up with AbilityPath to help spread the word about how hurtful the use of the "R" word can be.

This may be late in helping to spread the word but we we were in NYC on March 2nd.
